"A self-portrait, once a week, every week, in 2014."
This is my 'too-many-books-never-enough-time' face and even though I spent a good majority of the weekend reading, I've barely made a dent.
I'd like the introduce the next of my 17 experience: The 52 Project. I got the idea from this wonderful blog in which a mother took a portrait of each of her kids each week for an entire year. Now, I don't have children...but I do have myself (can I say that? is that even grammatically correct?) so I figured, why not just change up the project a little. So, here goes. Such a big part of this entire project - the 17 experiences, the blog itself - is to chronicle changes whether it be changes in my writing, my thinking, my behavior, my passions. It is a self-discovery blog, if we're being honest. But something I hadn't considered until I found the 52 Project was something to chronicle the physical changes I will go through that usually accompany everything else that is going on. So here it is, with this I will be able to look back after one year and see all those slight changes that cause anyone's appearance to shift, but that are usually missed over a long period of time. I like to think of this as just a slightly more advanced #selfiesunday.
