10.02.2013// Nothing of Particular Importance
Today was any regular run-of-the-mill-day.

What to say about school…did some work, took some tests…but oh! We had a Greek party — our teacher made us some delicious pita brad which we dipped in honey and wine *cough* sparkling grape juice *cough* and we played Pictionary to learn our art pieces for our test tomorrow. I love review days in that class:)

After school, our National Honors Society chapter held its Fall Inductions and since I am Treasurer, attendance was mandatory. However, the ceremony wasn’t long and the speaker we hosted was phenomenal! Congratulations to all the new inductees — it’s really funny, they have to pledge an oath, and they light candles, and sign a huge leather-bound book and it honestly feels a little like pledging loyalty to a cult. Except this cult is devoted to Scholarship, Service, Leadership, and Academics.

^^ That is what happens post-NHS induction, after tearing down the stage and mingling. Urvi has just found out that I’ve started reading The Maze Runner and she’s suppa excited! Except, I keep telling her my theories for the book and I SWEAR they are right (come on, I’m so good at guessing things) and she just keeps shooting me down! Apparently, my theories for the ending are wring, but we’ll just see about that, won’t we.
