9.12.2013// Randomly Hectic
Today was such a scramble of a day that I feel as if it was all a blur…

-We prepped for a Calc test tomorrow. Totally freaked out.
-Had an awesome Egyptian party in Art History and we ate Egyptian bread with hummus and honey, and grapes, and dates, and almonds all while playing Egyptian Pictionary to review for our exam tomorrow. The highlight of my day.
-Yet another brutal day of Environmental with pointless work.
-Some bad news was shared during lunch…
-On a brighter note, I think my friend and I have a total kick-butt idea for a story we want to write together!

And after school…

-Leave and immediately go pick up one of the kids I babysit.
-Go back to school with her, drop her off with her dad after doing homework with her, and then run to officiate our first National Honors Society meeting. All in a span of 5 minutes.
-Finally go home and get to relax for a bit, and I finished reading City of Ashes and holy crap my mind is blown! I’m on City of Glass now with no regrets! (forget about studying for my tests tomorrow!)
-After an hour, go pick up the second girl I babysit and drive her across town to her violin lessons. This will be a regular Thursday thing now.
-Avoid getting ticketed…I have never been so terrified and humiliated in my life. It was an awful curve, right in front of where I was dropping her off (a school) and I stopped at the stop sign, waited, and then took off. But apparently a cop was speeding at least 10-15 over the speed limit and neither of us saw each other and we got so close that I swear only a hair could in between the gap between our cars. He followed me into the parking lot, lights on, and my hart dropped into my stomach. He called me out and luckily didn’t reprimand me, he only asked if I was okay, but never have I been more afraid in my life.
-After I stopped shaking, dad and I ran some errands then after an hour and a half, picked the girl back up and delivered her to her parents.
-Finally home, dad and I relaxed with an episode of Pretty Little Liars. It sometimes amuses me more to watch him as he watches instead of watching the actual show. His mouth drops at all the right moments, and he gasps at the suspense, and I am so his daughter:) Except, he’s not rooting for Ezra and that is just not gonna fly with me. I gotta set him straight!

Now, on to finally studying for my tests….
(psh…as if lol)
