Today was one of those glorious Sundays where everybody is off to church bright and early so I got to sleep in and when Hannah and got in the cafeteria, it was peacefully empty. And for once, there was hot coffee - and not the decaf kind either!
Afterwards, we went back to the dorm where I knit socks and Hannah read one of my books. I officially have her addicted to The Mediator by Meg Cabot and I love it :) I also write my first two letters - sending them tomorrow woo!
Following shortly was another Sunday GSP event, this time in the form of Community Arts Day. There were random stations everywhere and you could go and make something or getting something done (like a glitter tattoo) I chose balloon animals and made Cat-Dog from the 90’s cartoon and then the Pet Rock station and made Libby!
Today was also the first practice for our showcase and, well, it didn’t go as smoothly as it should have if we want to perform Friday. And we haven’t even started teaching the boys their part! It seemed as if every time I made a suggestion, this girl would snub my comments we have another practice tonight so we’ll see how that goes! We were also supposed to have hiking and running club tonight but both got cancelled, much like the rave last night, due to bad weather :/ I’m most upset about the hiking because it got cancelled last week too! Whatever the reason, the roommates proceeded to spend the night in and it was just as, if not more, fun.
Here’s to hoping tomorrow will be a good Monday!
