4.01.2014// When in Florida - Day 4
Happy first day of April!
And you know what that means, it's also April Fool's Day;)
I won't even try and pull fast one on all of you guys cause you all are too quick on the uptake, but oh boy did I get Sophia good today! I won't go into details, but just know that it was a fabulous prank and it was worth it even though she said, and I quote 'I hate you. We never speak again.' and 'I hate you almost as much as exercise.' And those are just the nicer messages I got from her after my extremely amazing joke haha. I love you too, Soph:)

Today was a day of pure unfiltered relaxation in which we woke up whenever we felt like it, took our sweet time waking up in the morning and then proceeded to spend the rest of the day lounging by the pools and soaking up the sun.

Here ladies and gentlemen, you can observe us girls in our natural habitat (or at least what our natural habitat was for the week) laying out and sipping on some strawberry daiquiris. Not bad if I may say so myself, not bad at all.

We rounded up the group at about 3pm after we had had sufficient chlorine and were wiped out from going down the HUGE inflatable slide (did I forget to mention the slide?!) about a hundred times. That's what I love about vacations like these, you don't really work around a schedule. I pretty much never knew what the exact time was. We just functioned around set things like breakfast, lunch, and dinner and pretty much did whatever our hearts desired in the meantime.

Late run the evening we met up with some friends of Davis' parents for dinner who also happened to be vacationing at the same resort as us. We had surf and turf for dinner, as is customary when on the beach, and then spent the next two hours singing karaoke for random strangers. Freddie and Davis matched their entire outfits - I'm talking pants, shoes, shirts, and sunglasses - and were our lead singers while Blair, Haley and I, and a friend we'd made that night, were the backup dancers. For your viewing pleasure, here is our ragtag group performing 'Escape' aka The Pina Colada Song.

After that there was some mini-golfing, some more hot tubing, and then we crashed in order to get at least a couple more hours of sleep before the next day.
