2.13.2014// When in Mexico - Day 5
So I finally figured it out. Fruit Loops. Our hotel lobby smells like fruit loops. The weird part? The do not serve fruit loops...it's a mystery...

Waking up today it was cold and windy and cloudy and all the other things that basically do not make for a good day at the beach. So instead of going and suffering as the wind through sand in our faces at the beach, we headed to the nearby island, Isla Mujeres, for a day trip. We took a ferry and spent a couple hours wandering around. It was great, a nice break from our resort which was starting to get a little repetitive. AND! I finally got my coconut!! Delicious! There little shops and markets lining nearly every street we would go down and there were even those family run hotels that are so inviting with their open terraces and coffee shops on the ground floor. If our ferry hadn't been leaving, I would have been tempted to just stay there for a night! Of course, as soon as we left our hotel and got to the dock on the way to Isla Mujeres  the sun came out and it got unbearably hot and sunny. But oh well, we enjoyed our trip too much to care. And now, prepare to be bombarded with copious amounts of pictures. I apologize in advance but today was the only time during which we actually took any pictures so I must take advantage and share them all.

Not at all ready to leave this place quite yet...
