11.11.2013// Apparently, November is for Keeping Busy
This past week has been so insane that I feel like I've barely spent any time in the house. In fact, mom called me out on that over the weekend...oops! With me being so busy though, I also feel as if I haven't had any time to myself lately. Regardless, I guess I'll just some up some random things that happened over the week.

-Last Saturday, I went to my very first football game. It was freezing, and I can't say that I understood what was going on, but the company was pleasant, and I can't say that I didn't enjoy myself:P
-I just re-discovered the pumpkin bagels at Panera. They're seasonal, they're delicious, and they're all I want to eat for the next two months, please and thank you.
-Without missing a Monday, my routine is always the same: school as required by law, go get coffee immediately once the bell rings and the state no longer controls my life,  come back to school for history club (this week we talked about the wealth distribution in America) and then head back to a friends to watch the new episode of the walking dead. Without fail, we do this every week:)
-The new Jackass movie, Bad Grandpa...it's not one to watch with the parents...just going to leave it at that...
-Then there was Tuesday....the horror, the horror! I can't believe I managed to screw up so epically! If you missed the story, it should be a post or two back...but be warned, its cringe-worthy.
-Wednesday was just hard all over, for many reasons.
-And then, the rest of the week just flew by!
-Too many test, too much homework, not enough Lusi to care about all of them... I have a feeling this is  how the rest of the year is probably going to pan out :P
-Saturday, I went to a conference early in the morning for an organization called Bread Loaf in order to talk about our writing center which I am a lead consultant for. It was pretty awesome to see that many people who care about writing and the English language gathered in one place and talking about how they can improve the way it's taught. I even met a guy who knew a little Bulgarian!:)
-Afterwards, there was some college application working... but not really, because we mostly just gossiped. At least we pretended to try and get work done!
-Last but not least, Sunday a group of friends got together to go ice skating and I had never imagined how gliding across ice could de-stress a person. It was exactly what I needed, plus, I didn't even fall!
-Even though, this past week has been non-stop, always on the go, it has helped my friendships and in the end, nothing beats a strong friendship.
