Much like last week, I attended another birthday party this week, also for my English teacher (though this time it was his youngest daughter.) I helped out along with two of my friends and it was a blast — we had so much fun! It was My Little Pony themed and no joke, every child that showed up, even the boys, brought their own My Little Ponies with them! It was adorable:) We played pin the tail on the Pony, had a Mane and Tail Grooming Parlor where they painted their nails and did their hair, we made ice cream, and we colored and made paintings with leaves. Near the end, we were however pressured into offering ourselves up as actual ponies and we spent a good 5 minutes running around the yard with children on our backs.
But, I did get away with this really rad glitter tattoo, so it was all worth it;)
Afterwards, no one out of the three of us wanted to part so we decided it was time for a girls night! ~cue pop music from teenage movies here~ We had an awesome dinner, and then spent the evening chatting.
We came to the conclusion that it is an absolute necessity that we start a book club. And while it is a wonderful idea, I think if we do start one, we would just get even more distracted from school and college applications….oops! oh well! Aside the gossiping that comes naturally to girls in groups of two or more, we spent the rest of our time discussing books — which ones we’ve read, which ones we haven’t, which ones we should read next, etc.
Honestly, that ^^ is all our lives consist of right now. But, it’s totally cool by us.
