2.19.2014// When in Mexico - Day 6

We knew this time would come eventually, when we would have to part with the ocean, and the sand, and the sun. It was a bittersweet moment - although I probably could have stayed in Cancun for forever probably, I was also beginning to feel slightly homesick. That's not to say I couldn't have gotten over my homesickness if it meant staying in the warm haha, but as much as we'd like to, we have to return back home and face reality, which loosely translates into school and work.

I'm incredibly glad that after four years of planning, mom finally got her dream vacation. In fact, it's been a dream for all of us. An opportunity to recharge and take a break from the everyday monotony.
It felt nice to wake up in a different place, to experience new things, and get to enjoy the little things that occur each day without worrying about meeting deadlines or what-have-you, like we would be doing at home. Mark this trip as a complete success. One to surely repeat in the future.

Mexico, it's been real.
Until next time - hopefully sooner than later.
