Today I celebrated my friend, Mary Price’s, birthday which was June 17th, fashionable late since I was away ;) The original plan was to meet up at around 10am but seeing as how I woke up at 10:08am, that wasn’t going to happen. We ended up meeting in the afternoon and we headed to one of our favorite spots: The Mad Potter - a paint-your-own-pottery type deal. It was great! I always have a blast hanging out with her and it was nice catching up with each other on what we missed in each others’ lives these past weeks. She painted a plate for her boyfriend and I painted a vase with a cat on it, because ~kats are kool~ with it’s tail wrapping around the stem of the vase.
Don’t we look happy:) Anyway, this girl deserves a shout out. MPD, you are the best friend a girl could ever ask for. You are always there for me when I need you, no matter the situation, no questions asked. When ice cream and girly movies are needed, you’ve always got the freezer stocked and the DVDs all ready. Never have you let me down and I hope you never leave my life. We’ve both seen hard times but I’m glad to know we’ve gotten through them because we’ve had each other to rely on. I hope our friendship keeps on building because you are one person I never want to lose. Price knows how much I am terrified of heights and roller coasters but for this girl, I’d ride the tallest roller coaster there is. But no loops, I draw the line at loops.
